BA (Hons) Fashion Media & Marketing
Our Graduates
Katie Thorn studied BA (Hons) Fashion, Media & Marketing after attending Devonport High School for Boys where she was a Subject Ambassador for Art. After being inspired by the 2012 Annual Design for Humanity event by Billabong, Katie was inspired by the complexity of the research and design process behind fashion.
Katie has since gone on to work as a freelance photographer alongside her role as graphic design at Copyrite, an Exmouth based independent design and print shop.
Mikey Neale studied BA (Hons) Fashion Media & Marketing where he achieved a First Class Honours, while also gaining first hand industry experience with online leaders such as Opumo, Flatspot and Always In Colour.
On completing his degree and his full time position at Flatspot, Mikey relocated to London to intern once again at Opumo and then later on at DAZED Magazine. After a couple months interning in the summer of 2018, Mikey landed a job as a stylist just four months after graduating for menswear giants, END. clothing.
Mikey has since gone on to work for the likes of Vivienne Westwood and is currently a Senior Online Stylist at Selfridges.
Megan graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fashion Media and Marketing while working within the fashion retail sector. Once graduated, she quickly progressed to supervisor within this retail sector and broadened her skills in a number of aspects, including management.
She now works as a full-time social media and marketing manager for Manic Panic UK, taking care of the sole UK presence of the brand in social media, web and print.
