The Alumni Association at Arts University Plymouth is part of our commitment to supporting your continuing success beyond graduation. Anyone who has graduated from the university is considered a member of our alumni community and is able to join the association.
<p>As part of our alumni community, you can stay connected with fellow graduates and staff, share creative practice, as well as have access to a wide range of benefits and services on offer to alumni; including careers support, invites to events and much more. <br /></p>
<p>When you join the Alumni Association, you are able to take full advantage of the offers and opportunities exclusively available to you*. These include a 15% discount on fees for our Postgraduate programmes, access to careers, CV and job search support for three years after you graduate, and much more. <p>We're committed to supporting your career development and offer a wide range of guidance and resources both as a student and for three years after graduation. <p dir="ltr">Arts University Plymouth’s Workroom is a new creative business incubation space within Arts University Plymouth, supporting graduates to develop, and growing the next generation of creative business start-ups.</p>
<p dir="ltr">Designed for new and emerging creative industry start-ups and creative businesses with a focus on collaboration and innovation, graduates will receive a package of alumni support, talks, seminars and mentoring from industry and enterprise specialists, plus bookable access to workshops, studios and specialist equipment within Arts University Plymouth.</p>

<p>As a graduate of the university, you are entitled to a discount of 15% on postgraduate study fees if you choose to progress onto one of our MA programmes, no matter what year you graduated. This discount applies to alumni from our pre-degree courses, as well as our undergraduate degrees. <p>Members of the Arts University Plymouth Alumni Association are able to continue to access the Library at our Tavistock Place campus for free with a restricted membership for 12 months, using the books on a reference basis or borrowing up to three items from the 3 week loan stock.<br /></p>
<p>Once the 12 months has elapsed, alumni can pay a small annual fee of £30 for a borrowing library membership, allowing you to borrow up to 3 books at a time. </p>
<p>Please note, none of these memberships allow you to use the computer suites, online learning materials or printing options. <br /></p>
<p>The <a href="https://www.aup.ac.uk/international/turing-scheme">Turing Scheme</a> is the UK government’s scheme to provide funding for international opportunities in education and training across the world. Arts University Plymouth Alumni are eligible to apply for funding through the scheme to help them take up international opportunities such as placements and internships. </p>
<p>Please note that Alumni are only eligible for funding if their placement or internship takes place <strong>within 12 months of graduating</strong>.<br /></p>

<p>A donation to Arts University Plymouth can make a real difference both to the university and its students. You could fund scholarships or bursaries, from supporting a foundation student through to postgraduate level. You could also contribute to a particular exhibition or project within the wide range of research which is being undertaken across the university’s different programmes. Donations also make an enormous difference to the university’s buildings and facilities and can be made towards a particular part of the university’s estate. <br /></p>
<p>Generations of students have benefited from the generosity and foresight of alumni, friends and supporters who have chosen to remember Arts University Plymouth in their will. Their support makes a clear statement about the importance of education and creativity to society, as well as demonstrating support for the university. Legacies large and small are very important to the future of our university. By leaving a legacy to Arts University Plymouth you will be helping an institution that has pushed the boundaries of creativity for over 165 years.</p>

<p dir="ltr">With effect from the 2020/21 Academic Year, all Higher Education and Diploma Supplements are issued hard copy to student home addresses and digitally via ‘PremierCert+’, which is a secure online graduate document portal. All students are issued with a log-in to this system upon graduating from Arts University Plymouth.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you cannot find your log-in details, please email <a href="mailto:registry@aup.ac.uk">registry@aup.ac.uk</a> and we can assist you.</p>
<p dir="ltr">If you have lost your certificate or diploma supplement and require this to be reissued, there is a charge of £100. Please email <a href="mailto:registry@aup.ac.uk">registry@aup.ac.uk</a> to request this.</p>
<p dir="ltr">For students who graduated prior to the 2020/21 Academic Year who require access to their documents, please email <a href="mailto:registry@aup.ac.uk">registry@aup.ac.uk</a> and we can provide you with further information. Please note that charges for duplicate certificates are set by the Open University. <br /></p>
